Sami B Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Hello There is no way this line is 0.5pt. Any advice on how I fix this? I'm on Windows 7, and upgraded to the most recent version of Publisher yesterday. It's been like this since the upgrade. Cheers Quote
Joachim_L Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 What are the dimensions of your document? Must be tiny, when a line width of 3.6px is nearly covering the whole width of the document. There is a Stroke panel, you just have to make it visible. Right now it is 3 tabs away (to the right) from your Swatches panel. Sami B Posted February 20, 2020 Author Posted February 20, 2020 The document is 7.1 x 10.3 pixels. The stroke tab reads 0.5pts. There's something else wrong. Quote
GarryP Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Is your document supposed to be 7.1 x 10.3 pixels in size? It sounds a little bit small to me. Quote
Joachim_L Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 0,5 pt are 2,08333 px, so everything correct here ... or not? Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed

I would have spent all day trying to figure this out. You're right it should be inches. Doh. It's been a while since i last designed in Pub. Thank you so much. Quote

GarryP Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Glad that was quickly sorted. One quick way to check the document UOM is to look at the top-left corner of the rulers (if they are visible). Another way of quickly checking if the document UOM is reasonable is to look at the zoom level in the document title bar. In your attachment it’s over 4440%, which indicates something is probably wrong when you can see the whole page. You can convert points to pixels using this simple equation: Pixels = Document DPI / 72 * Points (e.g. 300 / 72 * 0.5 = 2.08...) This may be important if you change your Document DPI, see my two attached images, one for 144DPI and the other for 300DPI. Quote
