PDF (for web) is a good starting point or else: Do you have an example to upload here? I will like to make the settings and tell the programm I want a final pdf less than 300 kb. To apply indian visa they only accept upload pdf less than 300kb. Setting a target file size is not possible AFAIK, but you can see in the export dialogue the estimated export file size.
