What plans does Affinity have for future software?

I feel like Affinity is only a few software solutions away from becoming the ultimate competitor to Adobe. If Affinity had for example an alternative to After Effects, Animation, etc. that would seriously increase the number of Adobe to Affinity switchers.

The staff have mentioned many times that there are no current plans for an Affinity animator app, or for adding animation tools to any of the three existing apps. There has been mention of a fourth Affinity app, a DAM (digital asset manager) of some sort, but currently it is not being developed (& may never be).

They have said that they prefer to focus all their limited resources on improvements to the existing Affinity apps, including adding new features & refining existing ones (many of which users have requested), & of course fixing bugs.

After Effects est un formidable outil dans une suite de logiciels. Je suis animateur malgré que AE sois dirigé vers compositing; il est mon outil principal et de mon opinion personnel il est un peu comme le moteur d'une suite logicielle. Si je peux croire que vous mettiez un coups de pieds dans la fourmilliere.
