I have PSD files from illustrator and Affinity Designer shows the document type as 'Print'. I thought they should be 'Print Ready'. However, Affinity Designer will not let me save the Document Type as anything else other than 'print'. I change document type to 'Print Ready' and click save but the document type is still 'Print'.

If it matters, the Color Format is CMYK/8 and Color Profile is U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2.

What's up?

Thank you. I can see where the first sentence would be confusing. I should have said "I got PSD files from 'my illustrator', meaning the person that I contracted to draw the artwork in my book for me. She sent me the files in PSD format.

Where in Affinity Designer do you see the document type of the file shown as "Print" & how specifically are you trying to change that to "Print (Press-ready)" or whatever else you mean by "Print Ready"?
