Doozybird Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 I have PSD files from illustrator and Affinity Designer shows the document type as 'Print'. I thought they should be 'Print Ready'. However, Affinity Designer will not let me save the Document Type as anything else other than 'print'. I change document type to 'Print Ready' and click save but the document type is still 'Print'. If it matters, the Color Format is CMYK/8 and Color Profile is U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2. What's up? Quote
Doozybird Posted February 1, 2020 Author Posted February 1, 2020 Thank you. I can see where the first sentence would be confusing. I should have said "I got PSD files from 'my illustrator', meaning the person that I contracted to draw the artwork in my book for me. She sent me the files in PSD format. lacerto 1 Quote

Where in Affinity Designer do you see the document type of the file shown as "Print" & how specifically are you trying to change that to "Print (Press-ready)" or whatever else you mean by "Print Ready"?
