BKBL Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Hello, hope someone can help me ! I am really new to Affinity Designer (used to work with Indesign). I started to creat a document, since I was about too creat a pdf with a number of pages, I copied the cardboard several times. So Now I have about 40 dartboards, I worked with them, like they were double pages. I arranged my photographs on the "double" pages and then start to arrange my "double" pages / artboards ... so at the end I got the right order, so my new portfolio work out for me. NOW TO MY QUESTION : When I export my document as a pdf, the pdf will take the order of the pages/artboards like it was in the beginning ??? I really don#t get the advantage of that ? I mean I did the order by dragging the artboards around on purpose, so of corse I want it like that in the Pdf and not the order from the beginning where I had my plain dartboards without any pictures included ? I hope someone understand my issue and can help me :-) Thanks a lot !! :-) Quote
dutchshader Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Dragging the artboards around on screen won't change the order, you should change the order in the layers panel. StainX Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Hey, don't have this Problem, my Artboards get exported ascending (from lowest to highest) in the correct layer order. Also... you should take a look at Affinity Publisher... as this has actual pages and the proper tool for such a case, not Artboards. (Affinity Designer is like Adobe Illustrator, an Illustration software) BKBL 1 Quote
