Simon Dominic Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 If I have more than one document open, with Floating windows, and minimise Designer, the Navigator remains on the desktop. Windows 10. Quote

Simon Dominic Posted January 23, 2020 Author Posted January 23, 2020 I tried that but when docked it either takes up an entire column, or takes up space in a column where I don't want it. I have it top right of the screen so that it only takes up a small square. Quote
Staff Sean P Posted January 23, 2020 Staff Posted January 23, 2020 Hi Simon, Are you minimising the main Designer Window? After going Window > Float All (with 2 documents opened) and then Floating the Navigator Panel, everything is minimised when I minimise the primary Designer Window. Are you able to get a screen recording showing what you are doing to replicate? Thanks Quote
Simon Dominic Posted January 23, 2020 Author Posted January 23, 2020 It might have been transitory. What happened is I went back in and closed down an image. Minimising had the same effect but this time navigator itself was minimised on the desktop (just the title bar). I went back in and opened another image and this time TWO navigators appeared, both of which were blank and did not respond to image content. I closed them down, used View to show the navigator again, minimised the application and Designer crashed and disappeared. Oddly enough there is no record of the crash in Event Viewer, but Designer itself recognised the crash because it asked me on restart if I wanted to upload crash details automatically. Restarting, it now behaves as expected. So make of that what you will Quote
