Opening a design files from “files” app

Recommended Posts

Is there any way to open designer files straight from apples “files’ app now?   It used to be listed as an option when you chose “share’.  But Designer is no longer listed, nor can it seemingly be added/associated with a design files.   Have I screwed something up?

also, it would be extremely helpful if AD would generate a preview for files to display ;-)

thanks and sorry for stupid questions?

This is a bug which is known to our QA team and logged with our developers, so I'll bump the dev log with your report now.

By default, all Affinity documents should have a thumbnail for previewing files in Files on iOS - unfortunately this is another bug which has been introduced with iOS 13, as this has caused some file association issues for us.

I'll make sure each report is bumped as required and hopefully we'll be patching this shortly!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
