Domus Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 Hi, After having looked for clues online and tinkered with color profiles, I'm at my wits end and decided to try my luck in here. My apologies if the answer is obvious and I managed to overlook it. When I load a picture (RAW or JPG) into Affinity Photo, it always has a red tinge. When I look at the same pictures in any other software (browser, GIMP, anything), the tinge is gone. It isn't due to any operation carried on the pictures since the tinge is visible immediately when loading unedited pictures. Probably something obvious, but I'd appreciate very much if anyone has any pointers. Using Affinity Photo 1.7.3.481 Desktop on Windows 10. Cheers, Dom Quote
Dan C Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 Hi Domus, Welcome to the forums Sorry to see you're having trouble! This is likely caused by your Colour Management setting in Windows, could you please try following the steps in the below post and let me know if this helps? Thanks in advance! Quote
Domus Posted January 10, 2020 Author Posted January 10, 2020 Couple of things: 1) it worked!; 2) never saw a forum where answers were so swift and excellent; 3) I had already looked into Colour Management settings before, but was satisfied that under the "Advanced" tab, the device profile was set correctly. However, it was not set as the default under the "Devices" tab; 4) have worked with a few photo editors, but Affinity Photo really blows me away. Many many thanks for everything. Cheers! Dan C Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 That's wonderful news Dom, very glad to hear it! We certainly hope you enjoy using Affinity as much as we enjoy making it - should you have any further questions don't hesitate to post a new thread Quote
