Rolbrecht Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Hi, it is time consuming when a selection shall be changed and first the unhide button (Ctrl+h) needs to be activated. Even more confusing is, that the hide function works no matter if a selection is available or not. Recommendation: 1. The hide function Ctrl+h only works when a selection (marching ants) are shown. 2. Hidden marching ants automatically appear, when a selection is altered (e.g. via Alt + mouse drag) or a new selection is started. 3. Allow Ctrl + mouse drag to add to a selections. That would be a more consistant approach (Alt to substact and Ctrl to add) and it is eaiser to use than the right mouse button in combination with the left mouse button. Thanks Quote
Gunny Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 I am sure it was mentioned even before. 😒 Anyway, +1. I especially miss automatic unhide when I create a new selection. It usually takes some time to figure out that it really does something but I can't see it because I hid selection some 15 minutes ago. I think most people creating a new selection want to see it so it does not make sense to keep it hidden. Quote
