Silkograph Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 I am using Affinity designer from last 1 year. Updated minor version couple of time in the past after the purchase. But last week I installed latest version and later that week it is not able to launch at all. I may have installed some other software applications after updating Affinity Designer. Windows event viewer is showing following error. Please let me know if anything is required other than this log. Thank you. Quote
GarryP Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 Welcome to the forums. Unfortunately you’ve had the problem during a holiday shutdown at Serif, so not many of their people are around to help. You might get more answers once they get back off their well-deserved holidays. In the meantime you could try these posts from the FAQs: Quote
Silkograph Posted January 1, 2020 Author Posted January 1, 2020 Thanks GarryP. I checked everything you have mentioned but no issues as mentioned in your post. Quote
GarryP Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 That’s a shame. Hopefully someone from Serif will have an answer next week. Quote
Silkograph Posted January 7, 2020 Author Posted January 7, 2020 Hello, My Affinity Designer is still not working. I am waiting for someone to help me. Thanks Quote
Silkograph Posted January 12, 2020 Author Posted January 12, 2020 Finally I removed affinity-designer-1.7.3 and installed affinity-designer-1.7.2. Now the earlier version is working fine. But it seems I can't install latest version on my Windows 10 Home os. Quote
Gary9450 Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 1.7.3 has froze up on me twice since updating. Gonna have to go back to 1.7.2. Quote
Woodsman Rick Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Affinity Photo 1.7.3 crashed three times this evening for some reason. Not sure what I might have done differently to avoid it. Quote
