  1. Shree-lipi fonts work on Affinity Designer and other products. They have 8 bit and 16 bit (Unicode like 2-byte) fonts. People use these fonts regularly from last 6-7 years without any issues. You can contact them directly if you have any query. I do use Shree-Lipi fonts in Affinity Designer for designing banners and brochures. They have fonts for every Indian script / language.
  2. There is a product called Shree-Lipi from Moduar Infotech, India. They offer 8 bit and 16 bit fonts of all Indic scripts. 16 bit fonts are similar to Unicode fonts but it uses Unicode private area. In that package there is a converter to convert Unicode text to (and reverse) those 8 bit or 16 bit font formats. This works like a charm without need of Unicode support in Affinity Designer.
  3. Finally I removed affinity-designer-1.7.3 and installed affinity-designer-1.7.2. Now the earlier version is working fine. But it seems I can't install latest version on my Windows 10 Home os.
  4. Thanks GarryP. I checked everything you have mentioned but no issues as mentioned in your post.
  5. I am using Affinity designer from last 1 year. Updated minor version couple of time in the past after the purchase. But last week I installed latest version and later that week it is not able to launch at all. I may have installed some other software applications after updating Affinity Designer.
