ralf
I try to copy and paste a selection, but I fail. What I do: start safari copy this image of neuschwanstein to clipboard https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:Schloss_Neuschwanstein_2013.jpg open affinity photo close start dialog select file, new from clipboard make a rectangle selection around a tower cmd+c cmd+v What i want to see is a copy of the rectangle selection. But Affinity Photo duplicates the layer including the whole image. What do I wrong?
Staff MEB Posted July 12, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 12, 2015 Hi ralf, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Right click on the layer and select Rasterise (this will convert the image from an image entity to a raster container - labelled (Pixel) in the Layers panel, rather than (Image)), then copy/paste your selection. It should copy only the content inside your selection. Let me know if you still have trouble. globso 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
