Steps:

Open Designer, load a project, begin working, randomly but regularly crashes to desktop with no message or dialogue. Sometimes it will stay open for over a half an hour, most times it will crash within a few minutes. I can't work with this program as it is, so I'd like to solve this.

If there is any other information that would be valuable please let me know. Find attached the dump files as well as dxdiag for system info. Thanks!

Hi @zboser Can you try the latest 1.8 Designer beta we have available, it can be installed along side your existing version. Please make copies of your existing files/projects first and place them in a separate folder, then open these copies in the beta to test to see if the crashing still occurs.

So far it has been stable using 1.8. I'd still be interested to know the cause of the crashing in 1.7 though if you happen to see anything that might give you a clue. In case I've had a run of good luck today, you see. Thanks for your help!
