I'm having a similar issue. Windows 10 system. Affinity Photo and Designer (haven't tried with Publisher) crashes as soon as I drag an image from Unsplash. I can search it, but not drag an image into a document. The applications crash with no error. DxDiag.txt

So far it has been stable using 1.8. I'd still be interested to know the cause of the crashing in 1.7 though if you happen to see anything that might give you a clue. In case I've had a run of good luck today, you see. Thanks for your help!

Steps: Open Designer, load a project, begin working, randomly but regularly crashes to desktop with no message or dialogue. Sometimes it will stay open for over a half an hour, most times it will crash within a few minutes. I can't work with this program as it is, so I'd like to solve this. If there is any other information that would be valuable please let me know. Find attached the dump files as well as dxdiag for system info.
