TurboCooler Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 I know I can go to a ruler and drag and place a guide. However, if I want my guide to be exactly 3.5in from the top, is there a way to type that in? Otherwise, I have this guide that I cannot precisely place. My mouse is not sensitive enough to get it exactly where I want it. If I have a margin of 0.5in and I set my spread origin to 0.5in and then I want a Vertical Guide of 2.5in I would expect the Guide to be place 2.5in from my origin so 3.0in from the page edge. Instead, it is always placed relative to the page edge and ignores the spread origin. What am I missing? I want the guides to be relative to the margin. Second, there are not colors to indicate which guide is selected so if I am going to have a lot of them I have no visual indication which one I am going to edit. Staff MEB Posted December 18, 2019 Staff Posted December 18, 2019 Hi TurboCooler, The first point is a bug that's already logged to be looked at (Windows only). Regarding the second point (guide colour) i believe this is already logged as an improvement. I will check it out and fill one if not. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
