I have just started to use Affinity Publisher. I was trying to produce a three column template for a webpage. The title page had the title and the same three, but shorter, columns to accommodate the title.

I hot two snags.

I wanted to start writing my text from the second column, to leave white space on the page. My cursor just would not oblige. The only way to do this seemed to be to move the cursor space by space through the first, blank, column, till I got to the second. Imagine doing that page after page - I want to leave different columns blank, r put artwork there, to have pages that follow the same scheme but are not identical. Cannot do. Any ideas?

Secondly, I produced Master B for the title page and Master A for later pages - the latter without masthead and taller columns. I tried to apply Master B to my first page but though I saved it , it kept reverting to Master A.

Am I missing something or can these be fixed?
