Are the three Affinity products written to take advance of multiple processors in a single laptop/desktop?  If so, how many threads are supported? If all three are not multithreaded, which applications are multithreaded? How many threads will each application support?

Looking into a new laptop with more cpus on the chip.

Hi Switz,

Welcome to the forums :)

As far as I'm aware, there is no Core/Thread limit for the Affinity apps - we will always use as many resources as we can access to provide the best possible experience.

All 3 Affinity apps are multithreaded and our devs have previously confirmed that the higher the number of cores and core clock speed is the most important to increase performance in Affinity apps!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
