Switz
Are the three Affinity products written to take advance of multiple processors in a single laptop/desktop? If so, how many threads are supported? If all three are not multithreaded, which applications are multithreaded? How many threads will each application support? Looking into a new laptop with more cpus on the chip.
Staff Dan C Posted December 10, 2019 Staff Share Posted December 10, 2019 Hi Switz, Welcome to the forums As far as I'm aware, there is no Core/Thread limit for the Affinity apps - we will always use as many resources as we can access to provide the best possible experience. All 3 Affinity apps are multithreaded and our devs have previously confirmed that the higher the number of cores and core clock speed is the most important to increase performance in Affinity apps! Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks!
