Hol35 Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Unlike Affinity Photo there obviously is another way of accessing the tutorial videos from Affinity Designer. I am not using a private browser window by default but there are however script-blocking apps working in the background. My question is: Which scripts do I have explicitly to allow access? Everything works fine it‘s just the stream that does not show - it works well with MS Edge so where‘s the catch? Keep it up folks - great job and I enjoy working with your apps on the iPad! Staff DWright Posted December 9, 2019 Staff Posted December 9, 2019 Ho @Hol35, Welcome to the forums Our videos are hosted on Vimeo and from build 66 of Firefox the automatic playing of videos and audio is blocked can you will need to change the permission for the site to play the videos, Edge does not have any restrictions which is why the videos play. GarryP Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 In addition to the above answer, you may need to allow/trust the vimeo.com domain in whichever script-blocking plug-ins you have running. My attached example is from NoScript (Temp. Trusted just means “Trust until I restart Firefox”). Quote
Hol35 Posted December 12, 2019 Author Posted December 12, 2019 Thanks, there was just one more site that needed ‚treatment‘: vimeocdn.com - now everything is fine. Problem solved! Quote
GarryP Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 You’re welcome. For some reason I don’t have to trust vimeocdn.com to watch the videos, but as long as its working for you then that’s great. Quote
