Ricky James
I am just new to Affinity Designer. I use a similar Vector design and output software made specifically for Sign making Plotters so I am very used to its functions only. My issue is when unselecting an object that is within another object by clicking immediately outside that object, Affinity automatically then selects that object on the outer side. This causes me to inadvertently move that secondary object. thus having to backtrack interupting the fluidity of work. I realize that by unselecting, by moving the curser outside of any objects is the solution. However doing that requires one to move the curser in some cases some distance just to unselect something. The Software that I use daily simply allows one to select an object then unselect with a right mouse click. Done! Can someone please tell me how I can do this with Affinity designer? Thank you Ricky James

Or Cmd-D (Mac) - presumably Ctrl-D (PC) Quote Affinity Photo 2.0.3, Affinity Designer 2.0.3, Affinity Publisher 2.0.3, Mac OSX 13, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel.
