Davo
Good Afternoon, I'm fairly new to Affinity Designer and am really impressed with it's extensive functionality. A reoccurring issue I'm facing is with the pencil tool in vector mode - when I have 'pressure' set to denote the line thickness, the start of most lines tend to produce a thick 'hammer-head' effect. This obviously occurs with the pressure when the pencil first touches the screen but I wonder whether there is a way to avoid this ? (even trying to start lightly doesn't always alleviate this) My current work around is to modify the line thickness manually in the stroke thickness panel. This is time consuming as you can imagine. I'm using an apple pencil on an iPad Pro (2nd generation) Many thanks
Staff Sean P Posted November 13, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 13, 2019 Hi Davo, Welcome to the Affinity Forums! Thanks for letting us know, this is a known issue with development to be investigated. I will get it bumped with development.
Davo
Good Morning Team, Is there any progress with this issue? I've updated the software and I'm still getting the 'blob' at the beginning of each pencil stroke. Many thanks David
