MarctheArc Posted November 11, 2019 Share Posted November 11, 2019 I am using Windows 10 Enterprise 64 bit on a Lenovo X1 Yoga 1920x1080, 8 bit 60 Hz screen, Windows 10 64 Bit. CASE/Slide 1 - Not working: When I launch Publisher from its icon I get a white screen. By guesswork I can mouseclick and the relevant control will appear. If I launch a Publisher file from explorer the file itself displays, but again the controls do not. This means I cannot work on the go. CASE/Slide 2 - Working: When I attach two secondary monitors (22" and 23" Dell and Philips, both @ 1920x1080, 8 bit 60 Hz) and I launch Publisher, if it opens in the laptop screen as before (white) but with guesswork I can grab and drag it to either secondary monitor where it displays correctly. If now (CASE/Slide 3) I drag the document back to the laptop screen it ceases to display properly and cannot be worked on. I can try to drag it back to the secondary monitors where again it is fine. It appears that a member of the Affinity QA team didn't get round to fully investigating this specific report posted in the bugs forums. We are very sorry for this oversight. Yours is one of a number of reports that I am posting this apology to, using an automated script. Now we have released 1.8.3 on all platforms containing many hundreds of bug fixes, and we hope your problem has already been fully addressed. If you still have this problem in the 1.8.3 release build, then the QA team would really appreciate you reporting again it in the relevant Bugs forum. If that is what you already did in this thread just copy paste your original report into a new thread.
