ronnyb
The current help icon does not provide identifying labels for the options in the contextual tool bar along the bottom of the screen. The current help icon does not provide identifying labels for the options in the contextual tool bar along the bottom of the screen. It would be great to have the contextual help extend throughout the UI. For example, some of the icon options in the Node tool’s contextual tool bar are cryptic at first glance. Thanks for your consideration and all you do! Thomas C.
I agree with this request. Maybe the (?) icon could be treated as a tool also. My idea is that if a user holds the (?) then the labels will appear as they currently do. However if a user double taps the (?) then they will be using the “help tool”, which would allow the user to tap on any other tool/toggle/option to display a description of the selected item. (This would provide more information without causing excessive clutter.) Then double tap anywhere to exit the help tool and return to the previous tool. Edited November 12, 2019 by Thomas C.
