Hard crash when opening PDFs using Finder "open with" menu

This is what I did:

1. Affinity Designer is closed
2. in Finder Right click a PDF and choose Open With > Affinity Designer
3. Designer opens on PDF import settings dialog (not sure if I waited fully for this to happen)
4. in Finder Right click a second PDF and choose Open With > Affinity Designer
5. Wait for crash

Hi Matt,

Was this a one off crash or has it happened multiple times for you? If it is multiple times does it matter what PDF you used or does it happen with any? I've tried to reproduce it, but have been unable to.

I notice that it the actual crash is in the Intel HD 4000 graphics metal driver, so I then tried it on a Macbook Pro that has that chipset (along with a Geforce chipset) with 'Use only integrated GPU' enabled but was still unable to reproduce it.
