Reload font cache in PDF Options window

Recommended Posts

We are opening a lot of PDF/Illustrator files.

Most of the time fonts are missing. So we lookup the fonts on Google Fonts or another source and download + install them.
Affinity shows the "notification" that the font cache is being updated.

The PDF Options window does however not check again if the required fonts are installed.

Could this feature be added??

Hi AndreasFurster,

As long as you activate/install the font while you have PDF Options Window open, when the PDF is open it should then notice the font is active and use that instead of the replacement.  At least that's how it worked for me on my Mac when i just tested this with the same font shown in your screenshot :)
