  1. Hi everyone been enjoying the new version 1.9 I also enjoy using Filter forge and it works quite well with affinity. However applying a filter forge texture is a destructive edit. In Photo 1.9 I have set up a preset for creating patterns it's basically a 600px square document with a transparent background. What I do is add a fill layer and rasterize it. Then I select all (ctrl +A on Pc and I think cmd +A on mac) once I have my selection I go to the filers menu and select Filter forge from the plugins. there are a vast amount of texture filters in the filter forge library to choose fr
  2. Dear Affinity Photo users! I'm glad to announce that Filter Forge 7.0 is released. It supports Affinity Photo 1.5, and will support AP 1.6 as soon as Serif officially releases the update. This may be a fault in FF but when I opened FF as a standalone and then opened the same file , it worked perfectly. Operating system: x64 Edition (6.2 build 9200) Physical memory: 16301 MB Number of processors: 4, availab
  4. In a recent post, the OP was asking about wavelets. I was aware that FilterForge did offer wavelet filter and that FF 6 was compatible with Affinity Photo. Some time ago I bought FF6 on a special offer, but I had not really explored it. So I downloaded the wavelet filter for FF. I needed to upgrade to the latest version of FF6 first (not FF7), and it loaded into Affinity. I had loaded and developed a raw image of a prickly shrub first as a suitable subject. After a while it showed a set of images of the various decompositions squashed side-by-side. The rather limited filter
  5. Hi, Filter Forge might not run right from the shelves in Affinity. Attached an explanation of how to make it work. Roberto
