  1. In the attached image, I want the lower heart to look like a reflection of the upper one. I thougt that my first step should be to put a gradient transparency on the lower one. I tried the Transparency tool in both D and Pub, but no luck. Although I select the lower heart, when I use the Transparency tool it applies the transparency to the background. Using version 1.10.5.1342. Any help much appreciated.
  2. Sky replacement Affinity Photo Beginner tutorial Many beginners replace the sky forget about how it affects the rest of the photo. In this Digitally Fearless Affinity Photo tutorial I show how the sky affects the whole photo in real life and how you can show this in your photo manipulation. https://youtu.be/TUwr1ULcYzM
  3. I am working on replacing the sky in a number of photos with water bits along with the land and want to correct how the sky (now replaced) is reflected in these. I've searched for methods to do this in Affinity Photo via Goggle and in this forum but have so far been unsuccessful in finding any information. Does anyone have a link to a tutorial on how to do this? Thank you.
  4. I have recently been developing a macro to create ripples in a reflective water surface. Here is an example using the screes besides Wastwater in the English Lake District. The original was a scanned very old slide (with the accompanying loss of quality), but I thought it lent itself to this treatment. I flipped the image of the scree and applied the ripples macro to it before merging the two. John
  5. I really need a tutorial on how to make a subject look as if they are reflecting in water. My best guess is to use the perspective tool or arrange>flip. Maybe even stack a merged copy and blend? Please help Much respect, John Taylor
