🇬🇧 Hi, attached is a short video concerning the centering of objects: in one of them (the left one), there is a mask which partially obscures another object which overflows. The centering is not correct. I had never noticed this “indelicacy”!… 🇫🇷 Bonjour, ci-joint une petite vidéo concernant le centrage d'objets : dans l'un deux (celui de gauche), il y a un masque qui occulte partiellement un autre objet qui déborde. I'm following an Affinity Designer tutorial on youtube. As you can see on the image below (extracted from the video), You can see 2 green lines of 88.6 pixels showing to help equally distancing objects from the center of the documents. I have the latest version of Affinity Designer (1.8.3.641), and these lines are not showing up. Is there an option or keyboard key for that?

1. Is there a single Publisher command that is the equivalent of executing both Align:Middle and Align:Center via a single command? 2. On a double-page spread, Align:Center puts an object in the precise center of the spread. Is there an alignment command that quickly centers an object within the page where it is located, rather than the current spread?

So I have a shape and I am trying to make sure the text I put to the side of it is perfectly centered to the with the shape. I know photoshop has something like this with their grids that show a line when you reach the top portion, bottom portion, or center of an object you are moving the item nearby. Does Affinity do the same? Photo from my website to show what I mean. See how the purple lines appear when I move my text over the bar on the bottom letting me know they are centered against each other? Thanks everyone! loving the program so far.

I am creating a book cover and would like to center the cover image and text elements with reference to given points (i.e. the template guides, so it aligns properly within the cut lines). Is there a way to set two points either horizontally or vertically, and center all elements based on those? Thanks

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to find the exact center of a shape post creation, and even trickier post rotation? Like if I want to place a small star in the exact center of a large circle. So far the only way I can find is to make a large star, move it around with changing the size until all points contact the circle, then reduce the size of the star making sure it stays centered. In other products the center anchor point can be displayed, then guides can be dragged to mark the exact center to indicate where the star is to be started.
