  1. System: AP 2.3.1, macbook pro retina late 2013, Mac OS 11.7.10 Issue: When highlight and/or tones clipping alarm is switched on, canvas gets transparent showing grid background instead of showing red/yellow. I tried the same image in AP1 and the clipping alarms worked as expected. Video included to show issue in AP2. Thanks in advance Screen Recording 2024-01-25 at 21.15.39.mov
  2. Hi have just got into trying out the new version of Affinity Photo. On using the Clipping Alarms Shadows quite happily shows any clipping in BLUE Using Highlights the clipping is shown by a "no image background of clear squares" which is very hard to view. In the previous version it quite happily identified Highlight clipping in RED I cant find where i can change this so I have Highlight Clipping identified as RED?
  3. The clipped highlights are now being shown by a white/grey chequerboard pattern. Is there any way of making it red like before which is much easier to see?
  4. Clipping highlights are shown as alpha not red as supposed. MacOSX 10.13.6 Affinity 1.8.1
  5. The warning for blown out highlights still shows as a checkerboard rather than the red colour. The colour for pure blacks is blue & this is as expected. This was reported in previous betas but still hasn’t been fixed.
  6. Hi there, Not only is developing an image very slow, I also noticed that with Metal Compute the clipping indicators do not work. When I adjust an image by opening up the exposure the image starts to become transparent. and the colour overlays are not present. After unchecking Metal compute all is ok. BTW I am now at 15 seconds on opening a RAW file from an Nikon D750 on this laptop and my Mac Desktop. After developing and committing to the Pixel Persona it is taking about the same as opening a file ... 15 seconds !!!!! Macbook Air. 13in mid 2012 1.8 GHz Intel Core i5 Intel HD graphics 4000 1536 MB
