  1. This is with Affinity Designer 2.2.1.2075 on Windows 10. It seems to happen with Layers specifically. Triggering creation within the root Artboard doesn't cause the same garbled screen updating behavior when a Pixel Layer is created using Assistant. Steps: 1. Start document with Artboard 2. Switch to Pixel Persona 3. Create a Layer 4. Start drawing inside Layer forcing creation of a Pixel Layer using Assistant. 5. Reap: 23.10.22_11-36-18-AM_NV12_1920x1080.mp4 test-document.afdesign
  2. Problem In the apply master pages dialog, if you move the mouse down, the masterpages auto scroll, making it difficult to select the right master page. This happens in Publisher 2.2.0, Windows 10.19045. If this behaviour was intentional, it would also work when I move my mouse up, but this is not the case. Video to illustrate 2023-09-24 11-25-09.mp4 Steps to reproduce 1. Create a new document 2. Create several masterpages, enough to make the scrollbar appear and preferably a few extra (about 10 will do). 3. Go to a document page and right click > apply master... 4. Click on the dropdown for the masterpage and move the mouse down 5. Notice how the dropdown scrolls down by just moving the mouse to the last item and if you move fast, the dropdown moves to the end of the dropdown at once.
  3. 1. Draw a polygon. 2. Hit . to cycle the selection box to regular bounds. 3. Change the width or height of the polygon with the Transform panel. Result: The base box of the polygon will be displayed. 4. Now manually change the size of the polygon with any of the handles. 5. Hit . to cycle the selection box to regular bounds. 6. Change the width or height of the polygon with the Transform panel. Result: Still the regular bounds of the polygon will be displayed. My wish would be anyway to have the option to make the type of Selection Box to be sticky (or not).
  4. 1. Drag a RAW file (CR2 in my case) into an APu document. 2. Select it and hit the "Develop Image" button. 3. Look at the "Lens" panel and you will see three yellow triangles complaining about insufficient metadata. This bug won't happen, when you place the image via Menu or tool.
  5. I noticed one of my projects did not want to export as a PSD. After investigating, I believe I have narrowed down the problem to a certain perspective transform. How to trigger: Create a new project. Add an image (Might work with other types of layers, I just found a large stock image reproduces this the easiest). Add a perspective distort live filter. Set the source of the perspective live filter to a small region of the screen. Set the destination to a sufficiently larger area of the screen. Select export. If it is not selected yet, select PSD as the target format. What happens: Sometimes Affinity Photo may freeze and lock up (temporarily or sometimes until killed). Once the export window opens, you will notice that it never creates a preview for your PSD export. If you choose to export anyway without waiting for a preview, Affinity may freeze for a bit, show a progress bar, then after it fills it will fail with an error. I tested this on Windows using Affinity Photo/Designer/Publisher version 2.0.4 but noticed that this issue seems present on my iPad Pro (at least in Photo version 2.0.4). In the attached screen capture, I pressed CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+S (to export) around the 1:00 minute mark which did temporarily freeze the window. Then the export dialog box appeared but will not create a preview. After hitting export, Affinity prints "An error occurred while exporting to: <file name.psd>". Perspective distort can export as the end of the screen capture shows with the default perspective warp. But zooming into a small section using perspective warp has some issues. test.mov
  6. Whatever I try, the Background Grey Level stays black, even after a complete reset.
  7. Maybe already known? Everything over 400 being typed into the DPI field at Document Setup jumps back to 400, same behaviour in v2 retail. Windows 10.
  8. Yes, this is a weird one. 😂 The word notes is not German, but it seems to be part of the inbuilt German dictionary, because I am not able to unlearn / ignore this word (no option to do so). The Affinities use the Hunspell dictionaries, is this correct? So why is LibreOffice marking notes in German text as wrong and APu not? Just curious and maybe I missed something obvious here.
  9. Hello, Two images attached. First one shows black warped text. layer was duplicated and converted to curves. Then outline added. The outline doesn't conform to what the warped text was in Black. Gary
