  1. Hi, I used pinned lines on a master page to represent lines next to my page numbers. The problem is that these lines just randomly disappear on the normal pages. It doesn't help if you delete the assigned master page and then reassign it, the lines remain missing without a trace. I have attached a file where the phenomenon occurs (at least for me) on pages 1, 6-7 and 44. I would appreciate it if someone had time to download the document and test whether the problem isn't just affecting me Thank you! pinned objects missing.afpub
  2. Hi, I don't know if this has been reported before, but I keep having the problem in publisher that the color space of images in the resource manager is displayed as RGB, but the color profile is a CMYK profile (PSO Coated V3). Actually, as far as I know, this is impossible because PSO Coated V3 is a pure CYMK profile. If I open the image in Photo and export it as a new file and relink it, then the entries match again. If I just open and save the image nothing changes. Does anyone else happen to have this problem? Unfortunately, my current example is copyrighted material, so I cannot share it publicly. Thanks!
  3. Interesting... When I create a package and then open the Publisher document, everything seems to work. I have therefore created and uploaded a manual package for you (only a few pages). Please note that my customer's material is protected by copyright and must therefore be treated confidentially. Thanks for your efforts. [EDIT] When you open the document and assign the links, everything seems to work fine. Then please save the document, quit Publisher and start it again. If you now open the document, you should be able to reproduce the error. Especially on page 3 and page 8.
  4. @NathanC Is there any news about this bug? I know you all at serif are very busy, but this bug is terribly annoying. Selecting an Deselecting the frames again and again while working...
  5. @Callum I think I found a clue as to what might be causing the problem. If I set the pagebox of the placed afpub documents to TrimBox, then they are displayed directly. If, on the other hand, I use Maximum Content or Minimum Content, then the problem with not showing occurs. But if I use TrimBox or BleedBox, then I have exactly the same problem as @Maxdanger and @MikeTO with the pixelated display, but only with placed afpub or afdesign files. As soon as I zoom in close enough (or click), the display becomes sharp. I assume that there is a rule in the programming at which zoom level or user behavior the placed graphic is re-rendered for a better display. And maybe that's where the problem lies. If I export the graphic afpub document as a PDF and place it with the PageBox setting TrimBox, then the graphic is immediately displayed and sharp. Unfortunately there is another bug. If you place PDF files and set PDF Passthrough to Interpret, then the overprint settings of the PDF are not taken into account when exporting, but I often use Interpret because the display of the colors is then also optically correct. With passthrough it is always somehow too dark. Maybe that helps a bit.
  6. I also occasionally have something similar, for example with placed logos. But the bad thing is that the logo is also exported as a pixel graphic if I don't zoom in first until the image is sharp. For a while, I also suspected that it only happened with Affinity Designer documents with artboards. Embedding is definitely not a solution, but I guess that wasn't the intention either.
  7. @MikeTOIf I follow your recommendation and embed the images, save the document and then close it, then open the document again, all the images load.
  8. Hello Callum, thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, none of the suggested settings changed anything. I made another video. Even if I set performance to "Software" nothing changes. When exporting, the images are there even if they are not displayed in Publisher. Please let me know if there's anything else I can try. Suggestions.m4v
  9. Hello, I don't know if anyone else has this problem, at least I couldn't find anything. For a long time, I have had the problem that individual graphics are not displayed in various documents in Affinity Publisher. The link shows as OK in Resource Manager, and I can open and edit the file with no problem. The only way to get Affinity Publisher to display the graphic is to zoom in on the graphic. Then it suddenly appears. Sometimes it is enough if I just click on the graphic. Apparently it only happens with placed PDFs, Publisher or Designer documents, AI files - but not with JPGs or similar formats. At first, I thought that maybe my network was defective, but all network cables are completely new, as are the switch and the server. So I'm ruling that out as the cause. I made a screen video where you can see it. My question is, does anyone else have this problem or can replicate this? Or does anyone have an idea what I could check to find out what's causing this? Thanks! Graphic zoom in.m4v
  10. Hello, I'm just a bit desperate when copying and pasting adjustment layers between different documents in Affinity Photo. When I copy adjustment layers and paste them into another document, they are automatically masked. But how can I delete this mask? Right-clicking on the mask does not offer such an option, nor can it be selected. Can someone please tell me how to do this? thanks in advance
  11. Hello, this topic has been on my mind for a long time. Is it now possible with Affinity Publisher V2 to give only individual pages of a spread a different dimension? I know how to give both pages a different dimension, but unfortunately that doesn't help me for a self-mailer with registers. If that doesn't work, I'd be interested to know if it's at least on the feature list for the future. Thanks!
  12. Hello, I think a known bug is back, at least I didn't have it in a beta version anymore. If the "lock children" function is activated and a picture frame is transformed in size with the mouse, then an offset occurs. If you do Edit Undo, the offset becomes even larger. But that only happens if you edit the picture frame with the mouse. If you do it by manually entering the values in Transform Studio, nothing of the sort happens. Changing the performance setting to OpenGL doesn't change anything. Does anyone else have this problem or can confirm it? Thanks! Lock Children Bug.m4v
  13. "as well as giving focus to that guide in the dialog" Just tested it. Excellent!! Thank you that makes working with guides a lot easier.
  14. this is fantastic news! Is it also intended that the guide line that you double-click is already selected? I often have a lot of guides and at the moment I have to move the guide to see which entry it is based on the changed values.
  15. Should we also report bugs for this beta version that have already been reported for the main version but have not yet been fixed?
  16. I can confirm this, just tried it – dark mode, open PDF file dialog box. I'm running MacOS Ventura 13.0.1 on a M1 MacBook Air.
  18. @JonGl I think this is the same problem I had, or at least related to it. The solution was to copy all the text from the old text frames into completely new ones. Then this no longer occurs. A bit cumbersome but better than having to redo the formatting every time.
  19. In case it helps your developers: I found another appearance: The names for text styles are also doubled within the text field.
