    1.10.5 has a little crash bug. When I want to break a couple points on paths to be able to join them to close a shape, I get a repeatable crash in the process. My workaround is using the pen tool, adding points, then joining those instead. FullSizeRender.mov

    That worked but it’s still driving me nuts. Now I gotta deselect everything before I pan around the work area? That’s counterintuitive.

    Weird behavior on the iPad with Designer. Not sure how to describe it but it’s so annoying when you want to pan to another part of a design it snaps you back to the last object selected or a current selection. Anyone else getting this issue? Video attached. IMG_1708.MOV

    I have been trying to reclaim space on my iPad to keep it running smoothly but for some reason no matter how many files I remove from the iPad app Affinity Designer I can’t get the Documents and data below 50GB. I’m looking at the documents and data list and it has some fonts, a few files but nothing near the 50GB the settings app is telling me AD is using. Anyone else having this problem and is there a fix I’m not aware of?

    I hope the 1.9.0 fix comes to the iPad soon. I have this problem crashing when I use vector brushes with a short stabilizer and opacity/size settings to pressure. Makes pretty stuff but at a price (repeated crashes).

    My body is READY FOR SOME PUBLISHER ON IPAD OS. Hoping we get a beta by December. I just know you guys are gonna murder it so bring it on.

    You guys are awesome. Just got the update and this bug was squished! I’m back on my project and wrapping it up. I see the text boxes support Apple Pencil now too! No more jumping on the keyboard! Thanks for this. The problem popped up for me just a couple days ago so this is quick as far as I’m concerned.

    Same happening with my iPad Pro 12.9 2020 model. Fonts tab triggers a crash. Any workarounds?

    Also, if the calligraphy brush could support tilt and rotation that would be fantastic. Vector please.

    Me too. I really love the blur effects by Affinity but how well that translates to a large print when it’s time to output the image is still a mystery to me. I’d love some guidance if anyone else has done this yet. I have a client that has a vw business and I’m excited to get into designing but as of yet we have not figured out the pipeline from Affinity Designer to final film output. I’m on the iPad but also have for desktop.

    I’m getting the same behavior in your sample as you are. Selecting objects is very hit and miss. In my uploaded project you can try to select a number of brushstrokes near the top of the can. Good luck!

    It’s happening here too. Pencil accuracy is way off when using the node tool specifically. I have the original iPad Pro 11.9 inch. I need to point about 20 pixels below a node to select it. Zooming in helps a little. If a line is selected, the node tool with the pencil is more accurate. Drives me nuts.
