I am also trying to delete groups of nodes that are not on a straight path (see pic). In Illustrator you could select each section of converted text separately so deleting was quick and easy. Is there a way to do the same in AD? As I can't colour the text shadow differently I have to make another layer and delete the shadow of the top layer. A quick way of doing this would be great.

Hi. I am trying to create a style in Designer and nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me? I want to create it from an image fill and then give it an outline. Is this possible and if so how do I do it? I followed some instructions I found on here but my app doesn't behave as the instructions imply it should (possibly an old post). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I am new to Affinity Designer and loving it. There is one thing I find I miss from using Illustrator and that is how the guides work. I can't find a way of locking guides on a page other than giving them their own layer and locking that. More importantly, I can't make my own guides. I often need to make a guide box by converting a rectangle into a guide which is then locked in place. Is this a feature that you will bring to Affinity at a later date? It would be a great help.
