  1. I did the same as you @R C-R and got a good result no weird display. Having said that, we are both on mac and with different versions of Affinity to @GarryP
  2. Ok @Karizakia I think I've found the problem, you have a very small selection somewhere in the image, so, Press Cmd + D or Ctrl + D on windows to deselect the selection and your inpainting brush will work again.
  3. Thanks for clarifying that for me @Karizakia I think I misread your first post.
  4. I'm trying to work out the logic of this process, if you use Frequency Separation (FS) and then use the inpainting brush on the Blurred low frequency layer, that will do nothing to change the texture in the high frequency layer so the freckles will remain. Editing the high frequency layer will remove the freckles. But, why even use FS because the inpainting brush will do the same thing without FS. p.s. I'm using freckles as an example, that's not to say freckles are not good, I love a freckle just as much as the next freckle admirer lol!
  5. The screenshot is of Affinity Photo and it's settings, the image was downloaded and opened in Affinity Photo ya crazy galoot
  6. Without knowing the time of day one assumed it was near the end of the day so a bit of an orange cast would be acceptable.
  7. I would go with a more natural white balance adjustment of around 20-30%.
  8. Not sure how you have the vectors set up but you could nest the pixel layers within the outline of the Hurricane, then paint the base colour and create a new pixel layer to paint the contrast colour.
  9. Odd, try unchecking Enable Metal Compute acceleration, see how it behaves afterwards.
  10. Normally under Text > Text Wrap > Show Text Wrap Settings... ...and also via icons on the top menu.
  11. That doesn't look like Affinity Designer v2.4 Check the About menu option to see what version it shows. Are you on mac or windows?
  12. Ok, do you have the tools showing? Yes: Go to View > Customise and see if you can add the shapebuilder icon to the tools No: Go to View > Show tools
  13. This really should be a thing in Affinity apps, being touted as professional, and many people using 4k monitors and the like. In windows I've seen posts that allow you to disable scaling for an app, which isn't good if you have a lot of apps but not the scaling of a specific app: https://superuser.com/questions/1190895/is-it-possible-to-scale-specific-apps-on-windows-10
  14. Welcome to the forum @TheRazor You will probably need to upload the Ai file and SVG file for us to look at.
