This works. Very curios! I added two more layers and the macro selected the top layer. But I recorded, it should record the layer 5 from below. Is there only the description of the options in the popup window wrong?

Here is a screencast. When I record the macro I selected the top layer. Then I added a new layer an replayed the macro. Normally also the top layer would be selected. But the macro selects the second layer.

The selection of layers in macros does not work properly. When I create a macro and record that the top layer should be selected, for example, the macro only works on a file that has the same number of layers. If I apply the macro to another image that has more or less layers, the correct layer is not selected.
But if I record in the macro that I want the top layer to be selected, for example, it should work regardless of how many layers the image has.

I had the exact same issue with the export failing when rasterize was set to "unsupported properties" for my most recent design. Quite frustrating until I was able to switch it to rasterize all or none. The issue appears to be caused when I have font embedding on and vanishes when I convert fonts to curves.
I have the same problem with some documents.

If I switch off the visibility of an layer and export the file as PSD the exported layer is empty.

I deleted the old adjustment layer and added a new one. Now it works.

I did a test with the Layer Effects. The same problem.

The adjustment layers will not be exporters. I used the curves and the channel mixer. If I export a PDF the images will not be corrected.

The live filters will be not exported to the PDF.

I get an error if I want to export my document as an PDF. The Document is attached. Also the PDF settings.

I can't export a pdf as PDF/X-1a: I get the message that there is an error. I will attach the project file here.Ausstellungen 2019.afpub

If i create a spare channel this channel will not be saved in the PSD file. Sometime it is. Sometime not. I don't understand, why it's only saved sometimes. But it's very important to have the additional channels as alpha channels in the PSD file.

The question is: should I adapt my macros or will it be fixed in the next version and the behavior changes?
