  1. Actually you don't even need to have several photos to make an hdr image, one can be also enough. But what I agree about is that kind of editing is perfect for landscapes. Here is a nice article saying that does the trick when the light is poor or with contrast of light and shadows https://aurorahdr.com/what-is-high-dynamic-range. However, I wouldn't recommend it for moving objects as due to merging images the result will be blurry.
  2. Too bright color - looks unnatural. Have you applied any noise reduction?
