    @GabrielM This is urgent matter actually. Not something you can postpone.(putting vertical text layout aside) Typography is basic of basic thing on graphics apps. Especially when you claim it as a "pro" app and promote it in East Asian languages. Who use a publishing app that can't handle text properly? Please do not ignore this, you are losing customers and reputation in East Asia.

    That sounds strange... What kind of document is it? Does it have complected vector artworks a lot?

    It can be controlled by export setting like AlanPickup said. But if you want smaller than that, you could compress PDF with SmallPDF. https://smallpdf.com/compress-pdf

    Yes I understand that but unless I mention this, no one in Serif will notice that some people need this. Since most of Japanese don't speak English so they won't request it here. I'm posting this on behalf of them.

    I see, I had to reset tools. I've reset all settings in Preferences, but did not notice this.

    I would be nice if I could select nodes by area like Adobe Illustrator. Selecting one by one is pain sometimes.

    @Chris B It's "Bicubic Automatic". Please test with Designer. It's more important than Photo. Also try to paste something like screenshot image(jpg) that's high contrast and crisp, so degradation of the picture will be obvious.

    That's a fake pic I created. This is common magazine/book format in East Asia especially Japan. Japan's layout/typography rules are extremely complex, there are many thing you don't know.     UPDATE: I replaced pic 2 Actually page 2&3 on pic 2(What I want) should be reverse order.

    I'd like to create a document that has non-spread page 1 with start on left layout. When I select start on left layout, page 1&2 will be a spread page.(refer pic 1) But I want to make page 1 single.(refer pic 2) This is necessary when I create a book in East Asian format.

    I'm on PC so that might be a bug. At least I can connect nearest nodes with Join Curve on my PC.

    would you direct me how? As I mentioned "Join Curve" action of Node tool connects nearest combination of nodes automatically.

    Would be nice if I cloud connect certain nodes I selected without snapping them each other. A problem with "Join Curve" action of Node tool is that it connects nearest combination of nodes automatically, so I can not choose which combination. UPDATE: this has been improved in v1.8. now you can connect nodes you selected.

    And as I mentioned on another topic, I can't select a word on the auto suggestion popup using up/down arrow. This auto suggestion is different feature from user triggered suggestion with space key I mentioned above.

    Besides duplicate words/sentence probelm, manipulation of predicted words is crippled like Mogu mentioned. See attached screenshot from Apple Pages. Type space while typing, predicted words show up but I can't select a word using up/down arrow key or a numeric key. At this stat, I should be able to select a word using left/right arrow key. You see underlines on the sentence. Bold line represent word selected(漢字は), narrow line represent not selected.(日本語の) (Also with Shift+left/right, I can adjust the length of words split manually) I don't see these underlines on Affinity, but It seems I can select a word using left/right but it's invisible so hard to control.

    When "copy as SVG" is enabled, images won't be filliped on Windows. But images will be filliped on Mac regardless of "copy as SVG" setting.

    I think copying PNG in Photo doesn't degrade the image, only jpg will be degraded. But copying PNG in Designer end up rough preview as well. I suppose bringing objects from Designer to Photoshop is more important since it's workflow often expected.

    Select objects(layers) I need then Cmd/Ctrl + C.

    Actually SVG or not doesn't matter. just need to copy and paste things. Somebody needs this task to use Adobe and Affinity together. Affinity to Adobe XD has another bug but I posted as another topic. I'm reporting this as a representative. Images are jpg/png. Here is the screenshots 1. From Photo to Photoshop. Degraded compare to in Photo 2. From Designer to Photoshop. Like rough preview image.
