The mam_tor.afphoto views as locked and can not be exported as described in the Affinity Workbook page 151, while the file seems not to be locked in the MacOS finder. How may I unlock this file (I didn't find anything on this on Help nor Forum ...)?

There is a book written by Robin Whalley available for 6.99€ on Amazon for Kindle. It covers the essentials of Affinity Poto. It provides a good intro on how to use AP with downloadable sample images.

Hi MEB, That workaround worked out perfectly. After importing an image from photos and activating it (repeating this for 6 other images), I imported than 1 from my Dropbox witch activated the stitch button automatically. Desactivating that dropbox image and clicking the stitch button worked well this time and I could postprocess that panorama view. Thanks for your excellent support. Regs, Jacques

I would like to make a suggestion to easy finding our way into the growing list of tutorial videos currently provided, namely: 1. group them by subject/functionality family 2. indicate the newly added once since last list issued with a date of addition In fact I'm not suggesting anything new. I just take the example of the Affinity Photo Desktop video tutorial list ... It would also be nice when in the video the instructor is tapping on a tool, studio, persona, etc ... a colored circle shows where he was tapping ... Hi Callum, are there any videos elsewhere about stiching images to obtain a panorama? I tried New Panorama with 3 images taken from Photos but the program crashes after activating the images and clicking OK ... Thanks a lot, Jacques

Hello, I'm using Affinity Photo on iPad and have a suggestion to make concerning the included tutorials. To be able to view them an internet connection is required. Why not putting them on Youtube or Vimeo as you did with Photo & Designer for desktop to enable downloading them to iPad. In that way no internet connection required and they will be available all the time ... Many thanks in advance to consider my request. Jacques

Hello, it would be nice when a tool is actif (e.g. impainting brush) that the tool also disappears when pressing the Hide UI button. this will than show that part of the image hidden by the tool. Thanks in advance to consider my request

Hi Lee D, I switched my MacBookPro OS X 10.10.4 to Belgium-English and it worked out (but all my other Apps switched too ...). Now it's not a problem for me to work either in French, English or Dutch. Anyway, thanks a lot for this helpful tip. With kind regards, Jacques

Hi, my Mac OS X runs in French. Affinity Photo runs also French since the installation (set to Default in Preferences/Language). I get the help also in French. All this is normal, but ... When changing Preference/Language to English (normal or USA) and calling the help file it still appears in French (while it should be in English). Many thanks to correct this Jacques

yes, to have it probably more up to date (if maintained according to the released software ...), no, since it requires than a network connection (not necessarily thru when developing images in the field ...)

Please add the possibility to download the help as a PDF so it can be read on another screen or device ...
