  1. I experienced this "setup failed" pop-up too. I have all three Affinity apps and have successfully updated Designer and Photo. After reading through this thread and tried the suggestions, I realized that I have lost all rights to the Publisher folder (and it had zero bytes). Tried to delete it but no use. But I just did a restart and the Publisher folder was not there anymore. I did an install once again (run as admin) and it worked. All is fine now. P.S. ...This may be relevant or not, but just more info: Before I restarted, I deleted the Publisher Beta folder (so if you were a beta user, maybe you could delete that).
  2. Add me as another requester for DXF/DWG import & export. Thanks!
  3. Hi Wren, I had a free box set when I purchased Designer (windows), am I eligible for update? If yes, how? Thanks!
  4. Hi, I've been searching around but I can't seem to find a solution: I have a a simple jpeg file with black text on white background. I want to marquee the text so that I could create a shape/s out of the text. In PS, i would simply magic wand the text, when the marquee comes out, I create paths from selection. I have looked around and I read somewhere that after selection, I can go to Selection>Outline. I can't seem to find that command in my version. I;m using ver 1.5.1.43. Is there any other workaround for this? I know different software need different approach, so I guess I need time to wrap my head around this. Also, I have tried to export the paths from PS but when I open in designer there are no paths! Thanks.
  5. Hi, I'm using Designer for Windows and I can't seem to find Selection>Outline. Any other workarounds? Stroke selection is a very useful feature. Thanks.
