Thanks for the reply Walt , i am using a Sony A58 camera ...as i said when using Raw all info is displayed , but not in Jpeg mode ...

When i upload a Raw file to Affinity photos i get all the info as to the photo ( settings etc ) , but when i upload a jpeg i seemingly get no info at all , am i doing something wrong here or does shooting in jpeg not store any of the info as shooting in raw does Thanks Joe

I took a great photo of the Moon surrounded by colourful clouds , then i took a better pic of the moon on it's own , the prob with the first pic was that the moon was to bright with no detail but the second one was perfect , my question is , how do i cut the perfect pic of the moon and paste it into the first pic , looked at the tutorials but no go there , any help / advice greatly appreciated ...thanks

I have been using the plugins Efex etc for the past year withiout any probs but when i now scroll down to Plugins via "Filter" the plugins have disappeared , this is despite uninstalling them and reinstalling them in to Affinity application at the " Plugins" , i am using an imac . any help advice appreciated ..

I am using an 27 inch imac 2.7ghz with 12gb memory ram mac os High Sierra version 10.13.6 if that info helps

Thanks for the info and the help, if the case is that i cannot now use the Nik Collection in the new updated Affinity photo , how can i now go back to the Affinity photo version before the update as then the Nik collection should work ok then before i updated the Affintiy photo to the new version , any help and links to do this would be appreciated Thanks

I have the latest version of Affinity photo , but today when working on a photo the box comes up "updating fonts ", i am on an imac with all latest updates and also using the Nik collection , the box "updating fonts " only appears when i try to use the Nik collection , and i have to force quit Affinity until it disapears ,any help appreciated Thanks
