  1. So if it won't affect me, how do I get my scanner to work directly with Affinity Photo? And how about my other two concerns? These are all basic functions that Photoshop has had for years and I can't say goodbye to Photoshop until Affinity has them.
  2. I would like to use my Epson Perfection V500 Scanner with Affinity Photo on my iMac 27 computer running Mac OS Sierra. Will this work? I found a string on Google stating that Twain drivers wouldn't work with Affinity Photo because they are 32 bit. Is this true? If it is I think it's a lame excuse because PhotoShop CC 2019 is 64 bits and the Twain driver works fine. If it isn't true how do I get it to work. Second, I would like to use a Canon Application called “Canon Print Studio Pro” that drives my Canon PIXMA Pro 100 printer. This application acts as a driver and appears in the “Automate” menu in Photoshop. I can't find such a menu in Affinity Photo. Finally, will the Xrite Color Checker Passport ever be compatible with Affinity Photo? I would have hoped to abandon Photoshop altogether by now and move to Affinity Photo. But as I've tried to work with it I keep finding incompatibilities. What's the story here?
  3. I am doing a clean install on one of my Macs and I would like to install the plugins straight into Affinity Photo. On my other Machine I have Adobe Photoshop and Affinity draws from the Adobe plugins folder. However, my intention is to get rid of Photoshop altogether, so I'm not going to install it on my clean install. How can I use Affinity Photo with my plugins but without Photoshop?
  4. I unticked the “include layers” option and my PDFs still don't print on my EPSON ET-2550. However, they do print on my Canon PIXMA Pro 100. Maybe it's a driver issue. I'll see if there is a driver update for the Epson.
  5. I just finished creating a simple form for my AirBNB Short Term Rental and the PDF that I exported from Affinity Publisher won't print. I get two messages from my Epson ET-2550 printer. The first one reads: “The document could not be printed” and the second one reads: “A drawing error occurred”. At first, I thought the problem could be an EPS logo that I had at the top of my document. So I replaced it with a JPEG copy instead. The PDF didn't print either. Finally, I exported my document as a JPEG instead of a PDF and that does print. In this case it doesn't really matter because my document is intended for my printer, but if I were going to press then it would be a problem. I am attaching copies of the Publisher file, the PDF file and the two messages that I received when I tried to print. Casa Eva Arrival Form.afpub Casa Eva Arrival Form.pdf
