  1. Thanks for your explanation! I checked the Lens correction settings. When I deselect the Lens correction option I get the complete picture. In this case just a bit better without Lens correction. I like to have the upper edge in the picture.
  2. When I import a Nikon NEF file the viewed picture is not the same size as when I display with my Microsoft Photo viewer. The Affinity import is cropped. I attached the screenshots from the applications. The difference is not big but I cannot understand why Affinity is cropping during the import. I checked the document properties in the applications: Affinity import: 8288 x 5520 Microsoft: 8256 x 5504 This is even more strange!
  3. Why is the old structure changed? This was very flexible for everyone.
  4. I just checked the lens-fun database and my lens is still not in it. I send the data to them I think 1 year ago. The lens is in the Development list now: https://wilson.bronger.org/lensfun_coverage.html I think you use the official lens-fun database.
  5. I added my lens to the slr-nikon.xml file. This because the lens-fun database is not updated regurelay. I have the latest Nikon file attached. I added the camera Nikon D850 and the lens Nikon AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR. slr-nikon.xml
  6. In the past it was easy to check which lens profiles were included in the software. Now I cannot find the directory of the lens profiles anymore. Were can I place my custom lens profile? This was the location in the past: C:\Program Files\Affinity\Affinity Photo\Resources\Lens Profiles
  7. It was with the previous version. I checked it again with the latest beta and see no problem anymore.
  8. When I try to rename a Folder in the Open file dialog the program will hang and does not respond anymore. Windows 10 Pro, version 1803.
  9. Today I got the mail that my pictures are used for the calibration proces of the D850 and the nikon 24-70 2.8E VR lens for Lensfun. Soon the data will be in the database. I checked the link from the above message but that xml file is still old and does not contain data about the D850. When I have all the parameters I will update the xml file and upload it to the forum. So everyone can update by himself through copying the xml to the right location. Make a copy of the original file to have a back-up file. Copy the file to the location: C:\Program Files\Affinity\Affinity Photo Customer Beta\Resources\Lens Profiles Set Lens corrections to On in the the Assistant and the corrections are made automatically when opening a Nikon RAW file. slr-nikon.xml
  10. This weekend I made a set of pictures for the lens correction of the D850 and the Nikon 24-70 2.8E VR lens. I have send them to the Lensfun process for correction proces. I hope the camera and lens data will be added to database of Lensfun soon. Next to that I hope the data is added by the software engineers of Affinity Photo so everyone can have benefit of the corrections. My next step is to make special photo's for the vignetting and chromatic abberations of this lens.
  11. I am happy with the new Beta! Now testing again. Since long time there is a small bug. I tested it again with the .83 version and it is still there. If you Add an adjustment and then choose to Delete. The adjustment window disappear and the former adjustment window is opened.
  12. Thanks for the fast replay! I could not find it with a search.
  13. Sometimes when I resize a document to a lower resolution and want to export it the software keeps the original resolution. After a save of the document, closing Photo and re-open it the size is adjusted to the rigth value. The problem does not occur always.
