    Hi, I created this circle and punched through it with the C. I then tried to change the fill to Elliptical but it fills the whole page. If I create a square and punch through it with another square then change THAT to an elliptical fill that doesn't happen. Do others see the same thing? Thanks! Cuerpaso logo.afdesign

    It does seem to work for me. The only thing it doesn't do is to open up a group in the layers panel to show a selected 'child' inside a group. I wish I could help more.

    Am I right that Super Vectorizer is Mac only? These are pushing vectorizer.io a little harder.

    Damn, I was gorgeous back in 1991! I have tried vectorizer.io which seems to be free (with ads) for up to 3 images/hour and does a pretty good job. This isn't stretching it's abilities, of course!

    That's true but Inkscape is a full program. I may be silly but I don't really want to install another full program. Are there other options that are free or cheap that work JUST for tracing images? Thanks! PS yes, I would love it is AD could have it added!

    That's correct. I have to locate the object in the Layers palette before dragging it to the new layer. Not hard or a big chore but it would be nice!

    Hi, in CorelDraw I can select an item on the page and drag it to a layer in the layer palette and it will move to that layer. I wish we could do that in AD. Is that something you might consider? Phil

    I use it all the time. The only thing I preferred with PS is that it automatically added the image to a new, duplicate layer which Photo does not so I have to remember to Ctrl-J it before starting as I sometimes like to tone down the effect that way or let the client tell me I've overdone it and have that option.

    For me this is the answer! I had installed Photo beta but not run it. Now I have run it and total success! I think I hadn't agreed to the terms of service and so on and that was the problem Thanks all.

    Sorry. Been away for a while. Closed and reopened both apps. Restarted machine. Nothing makes it not be greyed out. Started new docs, opened just a photo... Thanks for all the replies! Any more ideas would be great!

    Hi, I have the betas of Designer and Photo installed. With Designer opened I see 'Edit in Photo' is greyed out and unavailable. Is this as it should be? Thanks! Phil

    Sometimes I make a selection and would like to copy it, deselect, make a global change and then reuse the selection. Copy selection is the quickest and easiest way to do that but Photo doesn't allow it. Yes, it's in the ether while it is cut from the image. That's just where I want it to be!

    Right. PS has a Copy Selection option. I just wish Photo had that as it's so quick and easy.

    Is there no way to copy a selection? I know I can save a selection as a spare channel but I just want to quicly copy the selection, make a few changes and reapply the selection. It doesn't seem to be possible. Is that right? Thanks!

    GENIUS! Yes, that must be it. I moved to Photo from PS and I wanted to customise it to look and behave as much like PS as possible. Thanks so much.

    Hi, in the beta I seem unable to hide the selection. Ctrl+H doesn't work. Are others seeing the same thing? This is something I use very frequently. Thanks for letting me know if you see the same thing.

    Never mind. It seems to be an error caused by importing PDF file...
