Sorry I havent been back on! Busy busy.. I did know exactly how to use txt and that I didn't just click anywhere. I was also trying to do it over an image. I use txt on everything I have been making and I LOVE that I can drag it to be what size I want. I had updated to 1.5.0.14 and all of a sudden it didn't work at all.. I would click on the button and pick Art Text and go to drag out and nothing.. tried clicking since it WAS a new beta version that messed mine up and thought maybe it had been changed.. nothing.. BUT I updated today to 1.5.0.15 and everything works again! Yay! :) SO I don't know what the problem was but obviously it has been fixed.

I had no problems with the last update and now with this new one, no matter what I do, I can't get text on anything I'm working on. :( Stacy

No the color shift happens pasting into a new document but not consistently so I'm not sure WHAT causes it.. and the file I sent you is what I paste everything into and it is any project that I have worked on, not just this one. It's just like the color shift, inconsistent. And yes, It said the crash reports were sent.

Yes, It has been happening consistently. I design my own Jamberry Nail Art Wraps and have been using Affinity to make my previews for my website. I have a template for the 'on nail preview' that is a .png and Ive been copying my art onto it (It's in the right top corner). The end result looks like this..I am not using dual monitors. I am on a new Surface Pro 4. Tonight I got on after not using my Surface at all today and Affinity wouldn't even open. I had to reinstall it and when I opened it it asked if I wanted to send an error report so I did.

I've been working on projects with several layers and several times yesterday as I would copy and paste from another project, the program would crash and I would lose half of what I was doing. Also, when pasting over it would totally change the color tones of my design even though when I would check, they would both say they were still CMYK.

Thanks MEB! I have a 7 month old who is always on the go. I don't have time to find the perfect article on google for what I'm looking for. Isn't that what the forum is for?? Im new to Affinity and trying to learn and Beta test and do everything else I have to do while my baby takes his 2 half hour naps(Because he refuses to sleep longer) during the day. Can we make our own brushes somehow?? Im working on a project and it would be so much easier if I could make my own brush of what I need. Thanks!

Coming from a Photoshop user of about 20 years and at the risk of sounding dumb I have to ask ... Is there a paint bucket somewhere and I am missing it or do I have to use the fill tool? I WILL NOT pay a monthly fee to use Photoshop and have just been lost trying to learn a new program when I'm SO at home using Photoshop. :( I'm hoping to LOVE all Affinity programs if I can just get the hang of something new! Thanks for any help! :D
