I wanted ^-CMD-D as shortcut for Data Merge Manager but AP does not accept this shortcut. Have others ending with F or R that work fine. Latest macOS, latest AP

See image and title. It's hard for me to believe that such a thing has gone unnoticed.

And Serif, please also check, what happens, if you use a scaled contoured form for masking/clipping for a pixel image : at export the image may be cut in ways you don't want.

It's been discussed elsewhere in the forum already: The new preview of AD at exporting layouts is not helpful: It only shows one artboard from possibly many in the document it is not scalable it sometimes takes forever to render (see image) Please make it at least a clickable option.

I made this pattern and grouped it. The first time I tried to change the opacity of the group AD crashed immediately. After that I could move the opacity slider, which made the macOS beachball appear and – after a while – the normal arrow cursor came back without any opacity change. AD-Pattern-Opacity.afdesign Update: not only opacity, stroke, too. Maybe other features, as well. My assumption: I applied this to a group which contains groups of one single symbol. I then tried to change the stroke of the original instance of the symbol which led to the desired change in all of them. Maybe my first try was some kind of recursion? However – this should be addressed.

When modifying shapes with the contour-tool and resizing the result the contour is not scaled properly: I cannot think of a situation in which this would make sense. It definitely doesn't make sense in all cases I can think of.

I really consider this a bug and would appreciate a confirmation. In the meantime I deconstruced the warp and made every single line by hand – that's not the idea.

Clipping a warped group leads to a warping of the clip-element itself. I think that is not the solution or did I oversee something?

Dear Serif I find myself strongly remembered of my last days at Adobe – I am really not sure whether V2 is ready for productional work (though: I feel like having an answer) I spent 16hrs on a design that I found many flaws and bugs while making – some of them I have reported, but not all. Now, I have come to export my work only to find that in a pure verctor based work some areas (the ones with warping in it) are pixelated in the EPS and PDF exports. They are not usable and I have no clue how I can send this work to the customer, now. I know that bashing around in forums is not a good solution for anything. But on the other hand I feel let down, not knowing how I can hold my deadline not to mention my time/money-ratio. Clueless...

left: Affinity canvas, right PDF in Preview – the arrows seem to become expanded (same look as when I expand stroke in AD😞 Update: I found out that it had to do with Mitre 1.5 - I set it to 1 and that did the trick (1 is much better in many cases, btw.) But I still consider it a bug.

Being more than happy with the new warping I have this feature request/issues with it – please see short movie. If the inner warp group could be converted in some kind of smart object that might sove the problem? ADWarping.mp4

Whenever I move a warped opbect (actually this is warping a warped object – see layers palette) the gpu seems to have issues with the screen rendering: M1 MacBook Pro 2021 – 16GB RAM, loads of SSD space. As soon as I zoom in/out the traces are gone, wverything looks fine again until the next move.

I have the same issue with Designer. Both, a PSD-File and a .afdesign-File are not updated and update button is greyed out. I hope Serif is gonna fix this – it worked with AD 1.x. I'm working solely on Dropbox. Would be a super major issue for us, if that'd stay.
