Add ability to center+zoom to selected object on canvas without using mouse. It is there for Designer, but not for Photo.

Seem to be a theme with styles: copying style, applying created style from Styles palette. If you apply Style, you'll get one look. If you scale object or even move one of it's points and apply same Style, you get a different style look with all values scaled according to objects new size! Style's attributes need to be stored in absolute values OR at least have option to be applied in absolute values. Hope Affinity team will address it after all these years.

You're right, I thought it was all about same topic. Guess (in a week or so) I'll make a feature request to bring this feature into Photo.

I'm on photo (mac version) and no combination* seem to zoom on selected layer. Is this windows only feature? Edit: *cmd / shift / option + 0 keys

Is it possible? For example when selecting object in layers, I want to quickly find this object in canvas without hunting for selection outline box.

I work with this setup (embeds, copied multiple times) constantly and this started happening in betas in last couple versions. Have to use stable version for now: same document, doesn't freeze.

Have an embed that's duplicated multiple times throughout main document. Embed has some layers, groups and layer effects applied inside. All pretty small (256x256 pixels) so memory shouldn't be an issue on my mac mini m1 16gb. Photo freezes consistently when I try to draw with pixel brush in the layer. Sometimes almost instantly sometimes I have to draw for a few seconds before it freezes. Freezing like that happened in other places, but this time its pretty consistent. Attached the afphoto. Used latest 248 version, it started happening at least in previous version. area1.afphoto

Adding new gradient swatch adds something weird to the palette. If i select older gradient and then new one, it changes just one color of the gradient.. PS. obviously ignore gif banding

Yes, it does seem to be fixed in beta! Sadly it freezes for me (reported in other thread), so i can't use it.

When replacing embed or link in document with other one using Resources palette, any layer properties like layer effects, opacity, blending mode, blend options etc are reset to defaults. I think it should replace the embed/link, but keep all properties applied to original.

Is there a way to sync all app settings (shortcuts, palettes, presets..) between non-beta and beta versions? Honestly wouldn't mind some kind of button in Misc preferences to export all preferences in one package, for backup sake, too.

Getting random freezes. I'd be drawing some pixelart, doc with multiple layers, effects, embeds. Then BAM, infinite beachball. Don't even know how to report this..

BUG: When scrolling layer's Effects panel up-down using trackpad and cursor comes across an angle UI element (drop shadow or gradient angle, etc.), scrolling stops and angle starts to change. Not sure that's good UX, probably only change angle if scrolling gesture started ON the angle element.

Every time i place a pixel layer or image and scale it up, it looks sharp, but scaled. And sometimes I do want that. But if i export that image, the layers will be blurry, as if scaled using bilinear resampling method. You added resample methods to Pattern layers, and its very helpful and useful! Please consider adding same option to images, embedded documents and pixel layers. For example here's me switching between resample options Nearest neighbor. which im trying to preserve: Bilinear look, when i export the image: Nearest with AA, best option id love to have for my task specifically:

Scaled objects are affected by some kind of issue where Node tool would incorrectly move parts of the vector shape that are not even close to cursor. Attached the document so you can try it. scaledbug.afphoto

As a temporary workaround I group to-be-merged layers and rasterize the group, it works as I expect Merge Layers to work
