Sorry for the late response, Carl. Yes, these would be very helpful.

Wouldn't it be great if someone made a set of brushes like these for Affinity? Or maybe you know of a set like these:
P.S. This isn't a promo for anyone. It's the only way I had of showing what I'm referring to.

I have the doc "A Guide to installing creative resources downloaded from the Affinity Store." The Assets Studio is mentioned, and it tells me to import assets through the Assets Studio, but it doesn't tell me how to get those assets onto the iPad in the first place. Does the Assets Studio make a connection to my account on the Affinity Store and let me choose which to import?
-
At the moment, all my assets are on my iMac. Should I connect the iPad to the iMac and drag them on to the iPad or, in the case of Frankentoon, for example, go back to their store on my iPad and try to re-download them?

I have a XP-Pen Deco 3, and their Artist 12 Pro.

Any printer I've ever dealt with prefers to use their own imposition software, and you could never know all the printing workflows that exist. Just make a good, clean layout and let the printer use their impositioning software.

What if you wanted the same text at the bottom on either the inside of the circle or the outside of the circle? It's easy to do in AI, but not so intuative in Designer.

Take a look at the hardcover workbooks for Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer.

Would I be able to make use of the brushes in this offer?

Note that among file types are .psd, .svg, .eps
Thanks

When were they reprinted? I've never heard of a 2nd or 3rd edition.

Any suggestions as to how to best get the .abr files into Affinity Photo, or how to organize them inside the program's file striation. You know, similar to how filters are arranged by a name sort of predicting their effect.
Thanks.

I'm preparing to remove all Adobe products from my system. I wanted to know if there are any presets from Photoshop that I should keep because they can be used by Affinity Photo. I understand that Adobe brushes can be installed in Affinity Photo, but I'm not absolutely certain. Are there any other parts of Photoshop I should save for use in Affinity Photo?
Thanks in advance.

No, I haven't added a huge library of fonts. In fact, I use Right Font to control which fonts are open and closed.

SOLVED...
Before doing anything drastic, I decided to use the most powerful tool in problem solving — patience. I decided to see if, when, or ever the programs might suddenly open up. Well, it took a painfully long 2 minutes of watching the bouncing beach ball before Design and Photo finally opened. I have no idea why the programs are so reluctant to open, but they're obviously working in their own lethargic way.
-
Affinity Designer and Photo have stopped opening and just bounce in the dock. If I download fresh copies of these programs and re-install them, choosing "Replace" on the install, will I lose all my filters and extras I've added? Or will the installer leave them in place?

I'll give this a try. I think I dragged on every point I could see. Somehow I don't remember seeing the point your red arrow is pointing to.
Chock it up to inexperience with the program.
Thanks.

In this instance, I was working on a some text on a line (or curve, if you like). I tried using the Selection tool and the Node tool while holding down the Shift key and dragging, but I could not get the shape to resize or scale.
-
In Illustrator, I can scale or resize an object by using the Selection tool and grabbing a point on a shape and dragging it. I can keep the scaling proportional by holding down the Shift key as I drag.
I can't find any way to scale or resize a shape in Designer. Is there a specific key combination to get the job done?

Press Command > Tab art the same time.

Is Affinity Photo 1.5.2 the most current update. I don't know the Build Number I have because the About window doesn't show it. Will Affinity provide in-app updates in the future? I also own Affinity Designer, which doesn't even show up under my purchases at the App Store.
-
I signed in and out and in to the App Store, and I still never saw a number next to the Updates tab, or an update available for Affinity Designer in the Updates window. But when I went to purchases, Affinity Designer it had a button labelled INSTALL next to it. Clicking that started the 1.5 download and install.

An upgrade for Affinity Designer 1.5 is not showing up on the App Store Updates. Is it not available as advertised?
Why don't Macros install under Macros Tab?

Going through the suggested process to install the Free Macro Pack supplied by Affinity, I find that the macros are installed under the Library tab, not the Macros tab. In fact, if I go to the Macros tab and click on Import Macros, and navigate to the Free Macros Pack, none of the items in the Macros Pack will be available to choose.
