  1. Thanks Nathan I did what you said and there was no change to the image. I will try it on some of my wildlife images and see what results I get, any issues and I willl get back to you.
  2. Thanks Ron I wasn't aware of that but I nearly always use Live Filters anyway when I am sharpening my RAW images.
  3. Hi Nathan I've attached a video as requested. I have also noticed if access the high pass filter from the top toolbar there is no blend mode available in the drop down? I am running v2.5.2 update Screen Recording 2024-06-18 at 17.19.04.mov
  4. I have been trying to sharpen images using the high pass filter, changes, as I work on the image, are shown on the screen, when I select merge it returns to the unsharpened image. I have also tried to flatten the document which again results in an unsharpened image. This has been working fine in the past. Running Mac OS Sonoma 14.5, I have rebooted Affinity V2 and I am running the latest version. Any ideas?
  5. I am running a 2017 iMac and updated to Affinity 1.9 and ran the new Benchmark process (see attachment) it doesn't show any results for GPU should I be worried?
  6. RC-R thanks for that, I thought that might be the case but I just wanted confirmation before I jumped in.
  7. Hi Alfred thanks for that yes it is there but no download button just an open button?
  8. Apologies if this is not the right place to post, I have just bought a new iMac and migrated my data etc from a time machine back up. Affinity photo is running extremely slowly and keeps hanging to the point it is non workable. I was going to delete it and reinstall but I don't have a product key (not in my account, early download from the web) Any ideas thanks in advance.
  9. Thanks JimmyJack just the job I have now set up a preset to suit. I knew it would be something simple but I just couldn't work it out.
  10. I am having trouble cropping my images I like to crop them to 6 x 4 so I change the mode to 6 x 4 and the crop grid appears in the top lefthand corner of my image then when I stretch the grid across my image it loses the 6 x 4 format. I have watched the tutorials and believe I am doing it correctly but I may be missing a trick any advice would be much appreciated.
