Is there a way of cutting out a section of a photograph, to then be able to use this on it's own, discarding the rest of the photo? Sorry if this is basic stuff. Thanks Chloe

Hello I'm wondering if I can create a shape then add gridlines to it. I was doing this in illustrator, and then using the live paint bucket tool to fill each grid square individually, enabling me to create really simple pixel art type images. Can I do this on Affinity? Thanks
