Hello, I have a question regarding the textframe tool. When I am opening a textframe it creates another text frame at the upper left corner. (see the picture below) Does anyone know how to switch that off? Many thanks in advance.

Thank you all so much for your insightful comments. I really appreciate it. I tried a few things: I created a character text style and also changed the font. It turned out that in some fonts some numbers look bigger... In any case it looks good now. So many thanks again! You guys are great!

Hello, I have an issue with the size of the numbers of the footnotes. As seen in the image the "4" in the footnotes is larger than the "1", "2" and "3". In "Format" I have selected "superscript" ("Hochgestellt") for all footnotes in the main text and in the note body, so I don't think that's the issue. Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be? Thanks in advance!

Hi all. This might be a silly question. But is there a way to make a frame around an important parts of a text, similar to the frame tool in Word? So far I am drawing a rectangle and put a new text frame inside (see picture below). But this method has the drawback that the new frame ("25. TEST TEST") is not part of the text on the page ("ZZZZ"), so it doesn't move once I format the text ("ZZZZ") on the page. Many thanks in advance!

Hi, whenever I work with Affinity the texts appear in a violet colour, even though it is supposed to be black. It looks normal when I go on "preview" or when I print it out. So it is just on screen. Is there a setting where I can switch off that violet colour? It is a bit irritating. Thanks in advance! Working mode versus preview mode:
