Indeed, the problem is not out of the way yet, but that's more a question of hard work on my end, checking hundreds of hyperlinks. Hypothetical question If this is a known issue and it is bound to invalid Hyperlinks, wouldn't adding a preflight option for finding these mistakes be a great value addition to affinity?

Hi! I am having big trouble exporting my book. It is a collection of 29 single documents built on the same template file. The preflight is green, except for one nonproportional scaling, which is however intended. Export of each file individually works fine. However, the entire thing crashes if I try to export the entire book with the same export settings. (PDF, digital, high quality) Ive recorded this screencast demonstrating what happens. After recording, i played around a bit and can provide the following information to narrow it down. The export works fine when going for "print" settings. Digital, small file size also crashes. The export also crashes when waiting long enough for the preview render. On the digital small-size preview, the render is so fast, i had to approach it multiple times to change it away before it crashed. This leads me to assume this might point to some internal overflow or pointer error when following the digital configurations. Here's a crash dump as well. I read it's an EXC_BAD_ACCESS type of error, so it is something with memory pointers. Is this something known? Is there a workaround or upcoming bug fix? Edit: little addition: Exporting a smaller book works fine (6 chapters). I will test more limits. Thank you! Hi! I am using the "book" feature and want to place references at the end of the book. The book itself is made up from multiple documents. I found out how to place endnotes at the end of the document, but how can I make this work for the entire book? I imagine that i place the end notes like a references chapter in a dedicated document at the end of the book, is this possible? Thanks!

Hi! The auto-Create way of doing things works out. I didn't encounter it while doing so. It still doesn't answer where it's coming from, but I'm happy to continue working like this. If this behavior happens again, I will surely be able to share more details. Thank you all for supporting!

Hi! I usually copy paste from pages documents. I add them through sublime text to kill all formatting prior to entering. It's weird. It only occurs in some parts of the text, it seems like there is some formatting still inside. If i do it on other pages (from the source text) this doesnt seem to apply. I digged a "healthy" and "unhealthy" format. there indeed is a lot of stuff added. the question is "how" or "where from"? Its weird that it adds itself through a page break. To the question of Resizing: No, I usually don't do that. Whenever I reach the end of a page, i open a new one and drop a fresh frame, which i then link to the previous. Ive tried both fresh boxes, as well as copy-pasted ones. The problem is the same in each case.

Hi! im having this weird behaviour which seemingly is a bug and cannot be turned off. Please teach me better So mainly, I work with pre-defined Paragraph styles. When moving text from one Text Frame to another, the style becomes modified and the size is either too small, or too large. The selected text now bears the title "styleName+" Screen Recording 2023-04-09 at 15.59.23.mov It's hard to explain what happens. Hence enjoy this short video showing what I face. Ive opened the styles settings and couldn't find anything related to that behavour. What am I doing wrong? Thank you kindly! Cheers!

Hi When I try to "find text" - either via CMD+F or via menu bar, the app crashes instantly. Reproducable on any type of document. Running version 2.0.3 on an intel mac (2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5) from 2020. Can we reproduce on other machines as well?
